Kourel Khassida
Community kourel chanting the Khassida of Xadim Rassul — every Sunday afternoon at Keur Serigne Touba.

Sunday afternoons at Keur Serigne Touba
Kourel is the communal chanting of the Khassida — the sacred poetry of Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba (Xadim Rassul). Each Sunday afternoon, the community gathers at Keur Serigne Touba to lift voices together in remembrance and love of the Way of Xadim Rassul.
This dedicated Sunday kourel complements the kourel that forms part of our Saturday Dahira. Whether you know the Khassida by heart or are learning for the first time, you are welcome to listen, join in, and deepen your connection to the teachings of Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba.
Explore selections of Khassida with English and French translations in our Library, for study alongside weekly kourel.
Location: 117 Pershore Road, Birmingham B5 7NZ (Keur Serigne Touba).
